Summary
The IT Project Manager manages overall coordination of IT solutions projects, from planning through implementation. This individual will also be involved in process-related solutions development projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
The IT Project Manager will perform the following duties in a safe, productive, and effective manner:
- Sets project scope, priorities, deadlines, and deliverable schedules based on project requirements
- Schedules work activities and meetings
- Provides regular reports/updates on project activities and progress deadlines to project stakeholders
- Develops and provides all project documentation (i.e. workflows, requirements, training & “How-to” documentation)
- Manages the relationship between contracted vendors or consultants and management
- Facilitates discussions and consensus among various project stakeholders, such as analysts, programmers, sponsors, and users.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in IT or Business and five or more years of experience with project management methodologies on intricate, multifaceted projects or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Substantial experience at a mid-sized company (or larger) managing financial and construction applications and process improvement projects
- Items Considered a PLUS:
- PMP Certification
- Experience using Viewpoint – VISTA Construction Management software
- Experience in the construction
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office 365, Outlook (e-Mail) and MS Project

- Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to evaluate and advise management on all aspects associated with business improvement projects
- Ability to expertly analyze problems to determine root causes and determine best course of action for effective resolutions
- Strong mediation skills to achieve goals/objectives, compromises during project planning, development, and implementation activities
