Summary
The Human Resource Generalist assists the Regional HR Manager in implementing processes and programs that advance effective recruiting and retention of the company's most important asset (the co-worker) within his/her assigned Region. This is accomplished by collaborating with Managers within the Region, as well as Corporate HR. The Generalist plays an important role in ensuring compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Human Resource Generalist will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. - Assists Regional Efforts to Recruit and Hire
- Manages the Onboarding Process
- Promotes Retention Efforts Through Positive Co-worker Relations
- Participates in HR Continuous Improvement Activities
- Supports Compliance Efforts
- Participates in HR Department Activities
- Oversees the Work of Direct Reports
- Participates in Training/Certifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in HR Management or related field and 4 years of HR experience; or a Master's Degree in HR Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional Certification in Human Resource Management (PHR or SPHR) preferred
- Prior experience in construction preferred
Compensation for this position is expected to range from $$88,333 to $95,000 annually.
Actual compensation offered may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, training, skills, certifications, geographic location, market conditions, and business needs.
In addition to base compensation, eligible co-workers may participate in company-sponsored benefits, which may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement savings plans, and other company-sponsored benefit programs, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.
